Corrections Policy
Accuracy matters because financial information can influence real household decisions. We welcome good-faith reports of possible errors.
How to report an error
Email [email protected] with the page URL, the statement you believe is inaccurate or unclear, and a source or explanation when available. Please do not send private financial account information.
What we review
We review reports that identify a factual error, outdated statement, broken link, misleading wording, or a missing disclosure. We may verify the point using primary or official sources where available. Not every difference of opinion requires a correction, but factual concerns receive attention.
Material corrections
When a correction materially changes a fact, calculation assumption, disclosure, or a reader’s reasonable understanding of the page, we update the page as soon as practical. We may add a correction note when it helps readers understand what changed. For minor spelling, grammar, formatting, or non-material link repairs, a visible note is usually unnecessary.
Dates and structured data
When a meaningful editorial update is made, the visible “Updated” date and the page’s dateModified information may be changed to reflect it. Routine technical formatting that does not alter the substance may not change those dates.
Education, not dispute resolution
Money North cannot settle disputes with lenders, government agencies, employers, financial firms, or other businesses. Its articles and calculators are educational and do not replace individualized professional advice.
